Before purchasing latex-free lash glue, it's important to understand the ingredients in lash adhesives and their roles. Fast drying lash glue primarily consists of Cyanoacrylate and other elements like PMMA and Carbon black.

Ethyl Cyanoacrylate

Ethyl Cyanoacrylate is the most commonly used type of cyanoacrylate in professional lash adhesives, making up approximately 80–90% of the glue’s composition. It plays a key role in forming the strong bond that attaches lash extensions to natural lashes. Initially in liquid form, Ethyl Cyanoacrylate quickly hardens when exposed to air humidity, creating a durable and long-lasting hold. Due to its fast drying time and strong adhesion, it is highly favored by advanced lash technicians who prioritize speed and efficiency in their work.

Ethoxyethyl 2-Cyanoacrylate

Ethoxyethyl 2-Cyanoacrylate is another form of cyanoacrylate used in lash adhesives, especially suitable for clients with sensitive eyes or skin. With an added ethoxyethyl group in its structure, this type of cyanoacrylate typically dries slightly slower than Ethyl Cyanoacrylate, but still delivers excellent bonding strength. It is often chosen by lash professionals for its lower irritation potential and greater stability in environments with high humidity, making it ideal for clients who need a gentler formula without compromising on performance.

PMMA (Poly(methyl methacrylate))

Comprising 5-10% of the glue, PMMA reinforces cyanoacrylate, enhancing retention and securing the extensions in place for the long term.

Carbon Black (CI 77266)

Adding depth to the adhesive's color, carbon black provides a rich black color. It's a minor and heaviest ingredient and may settle at the bottom of the bottle.

• Intended for Professionals Only: This fast drying lash extension glue is exclusively designed for professional use. Please do not attempt self-application or use it with strip or cluster lashes.
• Recommended for Various Techniques: It is highly recommended for the pinching technique (mega-volume lash) and is suitable for all types of lash extensions.

For Beginners, Follow These Steps:

1. Prepare the Adhesive: Remove the cap and insert the glue pin into the nozzle.
2. Thoroughly Mix: Shake the adhesive vigorously for at least 1 minute before use to ensure all ingredients are well blended.
3. Dispense on Lash Jade Stone: Pour an adequate amount of the desired adhesive onto a lash jade stone or similar surface.
4. Apply with Precision: Take a small bead of glue on the extension and promptly place it onto the natural lash. Avoid using painting or swiping motions.
5. Prevent Air Bubbles: After each use, "burp" the adhesive to release any trapped air bubbles. This step helps maintain the adhesive's performance.

By following these straightforward guidelines, you can ensure your client's lash extensions remain secure and beautiful.

Pro Tips for Using fast drying lash glue 

• Regular Glue Replacement: Replace the glue drop every 10-15 minutes. This prevents the adhesive from reacting with the humidity in the air, which can cause it to become stringy and reduce its performance.
• Eye Safety: Ensure the client's eyes are completely closed throughout the application to prevent any potential eye irritation.
• Optimal Application: When dipping the lash, aim for the middle of the glue droplet, as the adhesive tends to dry from the outer edges.
• Work Environment: Use the product in a well-ventilated workspace that is shielded from direct sunlight.
• Minimize Fumes: Consider using under-eye gel patches or medical foam tape to minimize fumes and enhance client comfort.

The shelf life of lash adhesive greatly depends on how it is stored. To maximize the longevity and effectiveness of your lash glue, consider the following storage requirements:

• Humidity: Maintain humidity levels below 40% to prevent moisture from affecting the adhesive's performance.
• Temperature: Store the adhesive within a temperature range of 8-13°C (46-55°F) to ensure its stability.
• Seal Container: Always keep the adhesive container tightly sealed when not in use to prevent air exposure.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Shield the adhesive from direct sunlight, and ensure it stays dry.
• Indoor Storage: Keep the adhesive indoors, in a cool, and well-ventilated area to maintain its quality.
• Heat Sources: Store the adhesive away from sources of heat, as high temperatures can degrade its quality.
• Refrigeration for Unopened Glue: Unopened false eyelashes adhesive can be stored in the refrigerator. However, it's recommended to allow it to come to room temperature for more than 2 hours before use.

• Eye and Skin Contact: Avoid contact with the adhesive on the skin and eyes. If contact occurs, do not force open eyes. Instead, flush the affected area with water for 15 minutes and seek advice from a doctor. In the case of skin contact, rinse the contact area with water and seek medical attention if necessary.
• Inhalation Precautions: Be cautious not to inhale the fumes from lash extension adhesive. If you inhale the fumes, move to an area with fresh air and seek medical assistance if symptoms persist.
• Allergic Reactions: Be aware that some individuals may experience allergic reactions to lash extension adhesive fumes. Conduct thorough client counseling before the extension process and always perform a patch test 24-48 hours before treatment. Apply a small amount of glue behind the client's ear or observe for any allergic reactions 20-30 minutes after applying a test set of eyelash extensions (about 5-6 lashes).
