Techniques

With Velvet Silk lashes, you could use these 4 techniques below to create fan-volume lashes.

Wiggle

The wiggle method is a well-known technique for creating volume lashes right on the glue strips. Start by using the point of your tweezers to grip the desired extensions at the base. Pull them closed away from the strip towards you and remember to not lift them.

After that, wiggle tweezers from left to right enough times to open the fan and make a tight point. With your tweezers, grip the fan tightly, pull it up towards you, and off the strip. At this moment, be careful not to bend the lashes because you will unfortunately break the base. Finally, dip your fan into the glue to create a natural volume lash.

The wiggle method is highly advised for skilled lash artists who can feel the lash extensions move back and forth in their tweezers as they fan out the lashes.

Lonely fan

The lonely fan method begins with pulling the desired amount of lashes off the strip and then re-stick it back down onto the strip to the side. Afterward, you grip the lashes just above the strip line and use the tip of your tweezers to roll over the lashes to open the fan. Then pick up the volume fans with a strong grip towards you, dip it into adhesive, and then apply it to natural eyelashes. This technique is simple, everyone can do it, even beginners.

Rainbow

The rainbow method is also one of the popular fanning techniques. Firstly, the desired amount of lashes is pulled closed away from the strip and towards you. After that, unlike the lonely fan method, you don’t take the selected lashes away from the strip but just simply leave them there.

Next, you use the tip of the tweezer to roll the lashes to the side to create a beautiful volume fan. Finally, you lift the fan with control and a strong grip, dip it into adhesive, and start the lash application

Sticky dot

Last but not least, we will introduce you to the sticky dot method. The first thing to do is take the desired amount of Velvet Faux Mink lashes you need and place them right on the bubble’s outer edge. Press them firmly and then release the tweezer to observe them grow into a beautiful volume fan.

At this time you could use the tips of your tweezers to adjust the fan until reaching a perfect symmetrical opening. The final step is by your tweezers grip the fan and dive it into the glue.
