Stage 1: Raw Material

Our lash production journey begins with the careful selection and preparation of raw materials—high-grade PBT fibers imported directly from Germany, Japan, and Korea. Each type of lash—whether mink or silk, matte or semi-matte—requires a specific kind of fiber to achieve the ideal finish and texture. Before production, all raw fibers are thoroughly inspected, labeled, and stored in transparent, sealed containers. This step is essential to protect the materials from moisture and contaminants, preserving the integrity and quality of every lash.

Once the lash style is confirmed for production, the corresponding PBT fibers are carefully retrieved and prepared for the first round of quality control.

Although our raw materials are pre-screened, they undergo a thorough inspection once again during the preparation phase. This ensures the material is appropriate, the thickness is precise, and the lash taper meets our standards. Using precision tools such as a specialized eyelash thickness gauge and a ruler for tip length measurement, our craftsmen carefully verify the accuracy of each fiber roll. Any PBT fibers that fail to meet the required specifications are immediately removed from the production line.

Stage 2: Line Processing

After passing inspection, the lashes are evenly spread across a custom lash mold to ensure uniform shape and density. This step is essential for achieving a consistent strip layout—with no irregular lengths and optimal fullness in every tray.

Once positioned, the lashes are secured with specialized sticky tape and carefully trimmed using a precision hammer to remove any excess fibers. Because each lash type varies in thickness and length, different tape types are required. This means our craftsmen must not only be highly skilled but also thoroughly trained to select the right tape for each lash style—ensuring it aligns with both the lash characteristics and the artist’s application techniques.

At this stage, the difference between a sparse strip and a full, high-density lash strip is made. Instead of simply laying lashes on the mold and applying tape, our craftsmen meticulously spread the fibers to ensure there are no gaps, even when inspected under light. This careful distribution guarantees maximum lash count and consistent fullness across all strips. Thanks to this precision, each Lii Lash black tray—featuring 16 strips—can contain up to 13,000 lashes, allowing lash artists to serve more clients while lowering the cost per application.

Stage 3: Tube Rolling

In this step, the trimmed lash fibers are wet-rolled around stainless steel tubes of varying diameters and wrapped in paper to prepare for the curl-setting process. The diameter of the tube determines the curl intensity—the larger the tube, the softer the curl; the smaller the tube, the tighter the curl.

Lii Lash uses a wide range of curl-setting tubes—from standard to specialized shapes—to create our 11 distinct lash curls. Since lashes are tightly wrapped around these tubes, the curl quality depends entirely on the tube’s condition. Before each use, every tube is carefully inspected to ensure it’s undamaged and precisely shaped, guaranteeing consistent curls in every tray.

Stage 4: Heat Shaping

The prepared lash curlers are placed in a specialized high-temperature dryer, located in a separate, controlled environment. This heat-setting process locks in the curl, giving each lash a long-lasting shape that can hold for over a year.

At the same time, the heat sterilizes the lashes, ensuring they are safe for both lash artists and wearers. Once fully curled, the lashes are carefully removed and inspected before moving to the next stage.

After heat curling, our lashes undergo a detailed inspection using Lii Lash’s proprietary measuring chart to verify length, thickness, and curl accuracy.

Only lashes that pass this check—free of adhesive residue and featuring a deep black, ultra-dense base that holds up under direct light—are approved to move forward in the production process.

Stage 5: Labeling

Depending on the lash style being produced, graded lash labels with customized card designs are selected and prepared for final assembly. The curled lashes are then carefully placed onto each row of Lii Lash labels and trimmed to precisely match the designated row length.

Each lash is crafted with precision and care, and once all rows in the tray are filled with the quality strips, they undergo a final wipe-down. This step removes any dust or debris that may have settled during production, ensuring the tray is spotless, polished, and ready for packaging.

Stage 6: Packaging Box

As we reach the final stage of production, each completed lash tray is carefully placed into its individual paper box, designed for both protection and elegant presentation. Once boxed, the trays are prepared for shipping, ensuring that every customer receives their lashes safely and within optimal lead time.
